Beckton crash: Six injured after collision involving £190k Lamborghini Urus and Royal Mail van | UK News

Six people have been injured after a Lamborghini was involved in a crash with a Royal Mail van in east London.

Witnesses captured the incident on video, showing the moment the cars collided and the aftermath of the smash in Beckton.

Both the blue supercar, with an estimated cost of £190,000, and van were crumpled in the smash on Tuesday evening, which left Royal Dock Road covered in debris.

Six people were treated in hospital for non life-threatening injuries, police said.

The pale blue Urus may have been carrying a group of teenage boys to their end-of-school prom when the crash happened, the Evening Standard reported.

Photos of the aftermath appeared to show a Royal Mail worker as well as two teenage boys dressed in suits lying injured in the road.

A Scotland Yard spokesperson said officers were called at 7.22pm, and crews from London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance also attended.

“Six people were taken to hospital where their injuries were assessed as not life-threatening. There have been no arrests and enquiries are ongoing,” the spokesperson said.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said six ambulance crews as well as paramedics, incident
response officers and its Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) attended, along with a Command Support
Team and London’s Air Ambulance.

“We treated six patients at the scene. We took two of the patients to a major trauma centre and
the other four to local hospitals,” the spokesperson added.

Roads were closed after the incident, with pictures showing Royal Dock Road still empty later on Tuesday night.
