To uncover what is genuine, Manny used real and fake £20 notes to highlight the differences.
Warning shopkeepers about fake money in Birmingham, the social media star provided a number of tips to stay alert.
On TikTok, Manny said: “Birmingham is full of counterfeit notes. If you’re a shopkeeper, here’s how to spot them without using a machine.
“Firstly, on the window you should see £20 imprinted on the real note. On the fake, it’s completely empty.
“Secondly, if you look at the yellow print, it’s super-blurred on the fake note.
“On the real note, it’s nice and defined. The final thing is here (bottom of note), you should see it change between ‘twenty and pounds’ as you refract the light.
“On the fake note, it just says 20. Save this video so you can check out if someone is trying to fob you off.”
