Blunt asks for waiver to replace food stamps (The Springfield News-Leader)

Gov. Matt Blunt is asking the U.S. Department of Agriculture to waive its 10-day rule to file for replacement food stamps for residents of Barry, Jasper and Newton counties in areas hit by May’s tornadoes.
