The Isle of Wight’s MP, Bob Seely, spent the morning learning about the work of Royal Mail’s postmen and postwomen today (Tuesday).
Bob paid a visit to the delivery office at Riverway, Newport to get a behind-the-scenes insight into how the Island’s post is received, sorted and delivered to thousands of homes and businesses each day.
Following the depot tour, Bob headed out on the road with local postie Shaun to help him with his daily rounds in Newport.
Taking to Twitter, Bob said of the experience:
“My thanks to Royal Mail for delivering great work. They get my stamp of approval!”
