Bran flake shaped like Ireland for sale on eBay for up to €112

A bran flake shaped like Ireland is on sale on eBay for up to £100 (€112).

A picture of a portion of the cereal treat that looks a lot like our great island went up on the online marketplace recently.

While the form is largely correct, it appears parts of Connacht and Ulster are a little stunted on the piece of food. There’s also a frankly frightening mountain ridge in the midlands.

Its condition is described as “new (not used with milk) and unboxed” and it “may or may not give you the luck of the Irish”.

There are just 22 days left to bid on or buy the flake outright. The item currently has nine “watchers”.

To be more exact, the UK seller will be providing any buyer with a “coupon” for the “amazing” item, which they can then send on to receive the flake.

The coupon and flake would be sent from Camborne, a town in Cornwall in England, according to the posting.

A description on eBay reads: “To abide by Ebay’s policy for sale of items such as this you will receive a coupon for this incredible Branflake shaped like Ireland.

“Condition new (Not used with Milk) and unboxed. I am selling a special coupon that can be used to redeem this Branflake that may or may not give you the luck of the Irish.

“Simply send the coupon received to the address on the coupon and you will receive this amazing Branflake. Dispatched with Royal Mail 2nd Class.”

The item seller, ‘nimblestore’, has three positive reviews on the site and is currently selling two other items – a crib with a starter price of £40 and a plastic straw from McDonald’s, for which they are looking for up to £500.
