On Saturday morning, I heard that some pills, due that day, were not going to be delivered until next week.
I needed to take one on Sunday night so I hurried to the delivery office to ask if I could possibly please collect it instead.
It turned out there had been a problem with the delivery van and although my package had arrived, there was no possibility of sorting the 1,000 parcels that had been on the van.
I explained my dilemma to the manager who incredibly kindly went to see if he could find it, and amazingly, he did.
I am so grateful to him, and big thanks both him and the Royal Mail for their help.
PS. I will order my pills with a wider margin in future.
