Australian alt-country artist Bud Rokesky has announced his highly anticipated sophomore album, Dusk. The 14-track record marks a bold and immersive follow-up to his acclaimed 2023 debut Outsider, further cementing Rokesky as one of the most compelling voices in Australia’s alternative country scene.
Described by Rokesky as an album “about endings”, Dusk explores themes of love, loss, environmental change and personal reckoning, weaving together fictional characters with deeply human, everyday moments. “There are ghosts in this album, both literal and metaphorical,” he explains, capturing the record’s reflective and world-building nature.

The album has already been teased through singles “Hey Now”, an intimate cover of Joy Division’s “Love Will Tear Us Apart”, and the newly released “45” — a playful yet urgent track built around a stomping, communal pulse that masks a quietly confronting message about choice and time.
Alongside the album announcement, Rokesky has revealed The Dusk Tour, kicking off on Friday 1 May at Bootleggers in Sydney and continuing across NSW, Victoria and Queensland throughout May, including an appearance at Meatstock Sydney.
Dusk is available to pre-order now, with tickets for all tour dates on sale.
