Burgundy takes the crown as the royal colour of the season for Kate, Zara and Beatrice – but Meghan wore it first

Burgundy has officially become the colour of the moment. This rich, berry-toned hue is stealing the spotlight, and its appeal hasn’t gone unnoticed by the royals.

In recent months, style icons like Catherine, Princess of Wales, Zara Tindall and Princess Beatrice have embraced the trend with flair.

However, Meghan Markle was the first to showcase this autumnal shade back in 2018.

And the Duchess of Sussex has been spotted wearing burgundy on numerous occasions since joining the Royal Family.

Take a look below as we highlight some of their most stunning looks.
