Entire families have been turning up in the street simply to gaze at the lights which sprawls across the entire area.

All of the 33 homes in the cul-de-sac have decorated their properties and the residents have been asking people who visit to marvel at the lights to donate anything they can to go to charity.

The residents have now raised more than £3,000 for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity in just a few weeks. Previous year’s charities have included Macmillan Cancer Support.

The display includes a large Christmas tree on the island at the bottom of the road which is festooned with lights, with an angel on top.

Many of the homes boast large inflatable snowmen, fairy lights over homes, hedges and windows, as well as luminous wreaths hanging from walls.
