Wycombe Wanderers’ away fixture at Cambridge United has been postponed following the Amber Army’s FA Cup commitments.
The Abbey Stadium outfit produced one of the shocks in this season’s FA Cup, as they defeated Newcastle United of the Premier League 1-0 at St James’ Park, thanks to a second-half Joe Ironside strike.

Cambridge’s involvement in the fourth round of the competition will now take place on the weekend of February 5, which is the date when Wanderers were due to travel to Cambridgeshire to face the Us.
Cambridge’s magnificent victory today means that our @SkyBetLeagueOne encounter at the Abbey on Saturday 5th February will be postponed, due to their involvement in the @EmiratesFACup fourth round that weekend.#CAMvWYC https://t.co/ZIZjyLK2s4

However, a new date will have to be penned in following their brilliant win away at Newcastle.
Coincidentally, Wycombe were due to play the Us on Boxing Day, but that fixture was postponed following a Covid spread in Cambridge’s camp.
That match has now been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 1.
