Cambridgeshire Post Office closed until further notice after postmaster resigns

Chesterton Post Office has closed until further notice after its postmaster resigned. Customers were informed of the news in a letter on Friday (May 10).

The branch, on High Street, has reportedly been shut since the beginning of the month. It was recently the target of a break-in at the premises, although it is unclear if anything was taken during the incident.

The company said they are hoping that the branch’s closure will be temporary. In the meantime, they have advised customers to use nearby alternative branches in Grafton and Arbury Court.
