Cambridgeshire village Post Office to close for a month for renovations

A Cambridgeshire village Post Office is closing temporarily for renovations. The Post Office says the work at the Fulbourn branch will take four weeks.

The shop at 11 High Street, Fulbourn, Cambridge, CB21 5DH will temporarily close from today (Monday). It is estimated that the extensive building work will take about a month.

The branch is due to re-open on Friday, September 27 at 1pm.

During the interim alternative branches include:

⦁ Cherry Hinton Post Office, 11 High Street, Cherry Hinton, CB1 9HY

⦁ Great Wilbraham Post Office, 37 Angle End, Great Wilbraham, CB21 5JG

Daniel Rooney, Post Office Partner Account Manager, said: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused to our customers during the work. The safety of our customers is of paramount, therefore, to allow for the building work to take place, it is necessary for the service to close temporarily.”
