Firefighters had to help get a car back onto the road after it crashed through a wall and into a Dorset garden. A post on Facebook from Swanage Fire Station said the incident took place yesterday afternoon (May 24) after the team received reports of a crash.
Pictures taken from the scene show firefighters examining the incident and the car stranded on the lawn. Fencing can be seen erected around the vehicle.
Along with a crew from Poole, firefighters from Swanage said they used a winch and small tools to get the car back onto the road. They also helped paramedics who were called to the scene.

A person commenting on the Facebook post asked if anyone had been seriously injured in the crash. The fire crew from Swanage confirmed the driver walked away without “much injury”.
The Facebook post said: “Two incidents today. This morning one appliance was mobilised to alarms and then this afternoon one appliance from Swanage and one from Poole were mobilised to a RTC (road traffic collision) where a car had gone off the road.
“Crews used various tools and the winch to secure the car and then assisted the ambulance crews. If you are interested in becoming a firefighter in Swanage then let us know as we are currently recruiting.”
