The Caring Kindness Team, based in Largs, is appealing for the public’s help.
The group is on the lookout for blankets, hot water bottles, socks, hats, gloves, and anything else that may be useful to those in need.
They are particularly keen on receiving toiletries like bubble bath, shower gel, bath bombs, hand and body lotion, and candles.
Sweet treats such as chocolates, biscuits, tea, coffee, and hot chocolate will also be gratefully received.
Donation stations are set up at Morrisons, Room (next to the Post Office), and Petty Parlour (Aitken Street, next to Royal Mail).
People can nominate one person, couple, or family who they think would benefit from receiving a gift.
To nominate someone, all people need to do is send a message to the Caring Kindness Team’s Facebook page with the name of the nominee and the reason for the nomination.
Nominations are kept confidential and are only open to residents of Largs, Skelmorlie, and Fairlie.
