Carrboro Farmers’ Market introduces common currency

The Carrboro Farmers’ Market will launch its Common Currency Program with the aim of making purchasing food at the market more convenient. Customers can use their credit, debit and federal food stamps to buy wooden tokens, called “Truck Bucks,” which can be spent like cash at the market.
