British sportswear brand Castore has added Preston North End and Mansfield Town FC to the roster of teams it supplies kits to for the 2023/24 season, now making it the second most represented British kit maker in the English Football League (EFL), following Umbro.
Founded by brothers Tom and Phil Beahon in 2015, Castore already supplies kits to Premier League sides Newcastle United, Aston Villa and Wolverhampton Wanderers, but adding Championship side Preston North End and League 2 team Mansfield Town FC to its teams for the 2023/24 season now raises its brand profile in the lower leagues too.
The EFL does not include the Premiership, but does include the Championship, League 1 and League 2, and Castore is already a kit supplier to Charlton Athletic in League 1 and MK Dons in League 2.
Furthermore, Castore already has partnerships with Scottish Premiership side Rangers, Dutch side Feyenoord and La Liga side Sevilla in Spain.
Tom Beahon, Co-founder of Castore, said: “We are beyond proud to be partnered with so many fantastic football clubs ahead of the upcoming season. It’s so important to us that our brand is represented not just at the highest level, but throughout the game.
“Our kits encompass various individual aspects of each club involved, whether that be the team’s history, the region itself or paying homage to kit designs from years gone by. We employ cutting edge design techniques to ensure not only the players and the fans look great on and off the pitch, but the footballers are wearing the best possible equipment to succeed. We can’t wait for the start of the 2023/24 season and we wish our teams the best of luck.”
