ID cards take flight (Channel 4)

Private firms, shops and the Royal Mail may be asked to bid for contracts to fingerprint millions of people for new identity cards. The Home Office said today that pilots will be introduced for people working in sensitive jobs with two airports chosen for the scheme. More: continued here
