Bankies are set to enjoy the sunshine on Saturday and will have a fun day out to enjoy thanks to a local community centre.
Centre81 in Whitecrook is hosting a Gala Day at the centre in Braes Avenue on Saturday, August 13 with a packed afternoon of activities between 12noon and 4pm.
They will be putting on a barbecue, a plant sale, a bouncy castle and fun fair rides alongside face-painting, arts and crafts and a stall that offers maintenance for bikes.
There will also be a DJ playing music throughout the day as well as performances from local dance groups.
The organisers have reminded people that this is a no-alcohol event.
