Complete Reformer will officially open its doors on September 1 at 25a Chesham High Street and aims to bring a unique new resource focused on learning, community education, rehabilitation, and injury prevention to the area.
Its founder, Louise Rayner, had sold her previous businesses, planning to retire in 2023.
She undertook charitable efforts as a ‘Running Postie’, running around Rickmansworth with the Royal Mail team to raise money for Paul Strickland Scanners.

Reformer Pilates had a transformative impact on her life over the last six years while she was recovering from a marathon training injury, and the birth of her son at age 50.
Having completed over 600 classes, Louise saw not only her own improvement but also the benefits it brought to friends and others in the community.
As an entrepreneur accustomed to a constantly racing mind, Reformer Pilates provided a unique outlet for focus and strength as well as a philanthropic opportunity.
Complete Reformer is a not-for-profit organisation, with all proceeds reinvested into local community health, education, and injury prevention initiatives.
The Chesham High Street site has undergone a complete transformation, from asbestos removal to new floors, state-of-the-art Align machines, electrics, safety systems, and mirrors to create a purpose-built space for the studio.
The organisation employs local people, including two experienced managers and approximately 15 freelance instructors, all of whom are professionally qualified and highly experienced.
The company is still actively looking for additional instructors and physiotherapists to join the team.
It also hopes to collaborate with local GPs, physiotherapists, and businesses to support patients and employees in staying strong, healthy, and injury-free.

Louise said: “This project is deeply personal to me.
“I don’t need to do this for financial reasons – I’m doing it because I believe in the power of movement, education, and community to change lives.
“I wanted to create a place where people can feel stronger, learn, recover, and connect, all without profit as the driving force.
“Chesham deserves a space like this, and I’m proud to make it happen.”
Memberships to Complete Reformer start at £110 per month, for 10 classes, and Reformer Class Packs start at £200 for 10 classes across six months.
The gym has stated it will “reinvest any surplus into affordability, subsidised support and instructor development”.
Complete Reformer is also sponsoring Chesham FC.
