Chester police invite person who ordered cannabis online to ‘claim’ parcel at station

POLICE are on the lookout for a Chester person who ordered cannabis online to come to ‘claim’ their parcel at Blacon Police Station.

The Chester police team said the parcel containing a vacuum-wrapped bag of cannabis did not escape the attention of Royal Mail staff, who intercepted it.

Publicising an appeal via social media on Friday, October 11, officers would now like the person who ordered the cannabis, which has been seized by police, to come to the station where they can receive support for their “illegal drug use”.

The letter states: “Here at Cheshire Police we take our investigations seriously, we do not wish to cause distress and worry regarding your undelivered parcel, so please accept this letter as receipt for it, thank you.

“Your parcel is being stored safely at Chester Police Station, if you wish to discuss this matter then we invite you to attend the station.

“During this discussion we can point you in the right direction to gain support for your illegal drug use.

“Kind regards, Chester Police.”
