‘Child protection service’ patrolling Stoke-on-Trent parks

They’re ‘safeguarding vulnerable people from predators’

A ‘child protection service’ is patrolling Stoke-on-Trent parks. The Shield brands itself as a ‘preventative force’ which is ‘standing for the people’ and ‘safeguarding vulnerable people from predators’.

The Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire patrols have been active since late October. The group has already patrolled Tunstall Park and Central Forest Park in Stoke-on-Trent as well as at Westbridge Park, in Stone.

In one social media post, The Shield stated: “Tunstall Park in Stoke-on-Trent and the surrounding areas. Making sure people were safe and telling people what we are doing and how we work. It’s not our first time there but it is always a pleasure.”
