Children evacuated from school bus blaze in Devon

Children have been evacuated from a school bus blaze in Devon.

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said the 53-seater coach was “well alight” when firefighters were called to Shamble Way, in Lynton, at about 15:00 BST.

Firefighters said all the children and three adults that had been on board were evacuated from the vehicle.

The service said fire crews remained at the scene damping down the vehicle. No further details have been issued.
