Chris Jackson joins Neertec as UK Sales Director

Neertec adopts new talent in UK market push

While Neertec is a serious international player, the company is relatively new to the UK. The new Sales Director’s primary objective will be to rapidly build brand recognition and market share, delivering on the company’s big plans to deploy charging networks across public sites, as well as essential private and shared depots.

The new role is strategically positioned to address what Chris describes as the ‘messy middle’ of the energy transition. His focus will be on accelerating the shift to EVs and helping fleet operators move forward with confidence by ensuring project delivery moves from the option stage to rapid execution.

Neertec is not just focused on EV charging hardware, with strategy involving a whole-ecosystem approach. Chris’ role will also focus on solar PV, BESS, and optimisation, building a UK sales team, and strengthening relationships with the rest of the UK EV industry.

The appointment comes at a crucial time, as UK fleets enter a key phase of EV adoption, as already seen with the likes of Royal Mail and Amazon – with the need for high-powered and reliable charging infrastructure growing exponentially.

“This is about joining up what fleets already have with what they actually need. Get the power in the right places, make access seamless and measure the revenue. The result is a network that has a decent return and keeps vehicles moving.

Operators are asking for dependable energy on their doorstep, not miles out of the way. We’ll focus on shared depot charging that fits shift patterns. It’s a simple idea: build where the work is, share when it helps.”
