City in support of KitAid – News

City and a number of supporters have donated a selection of City shirts to KitAid which have been sent out to teams in Uganda.

The club handed over old Academy kit earlier this summer, with fans also giving up unwanted kit.

Betty, who watched her first Imps game in 1955, handed over a large box of boots as well as some shirts she had collected from her grandchildren to help others enjoy football.

Imps supporter Chris had organised a number of charity football games through his work at Royal Mail and also donated a full set of City kits, knowing the difference that they could make to a community in Africa or elsewhere.

Shafic Wetaka, an U13 goalie in Mbale in Eastern Uganda, is one of those who have benefited from similar kit donations previously made by City fans.
