Tech start-up iParcelBox, the new game-changing parcel delivery solution, which is monitored and controlled via a smartphone app, has appointed Centropy PR following a competitive pitch process. iParcelBox, founded this year by Harrow-based entrepreneur Paul Needler, is set to transform the online delivery market, allowing delivery drivers and couriers to securely deliver items to UK households.
The product provides smartphone notification alerts to the customer who unlocks the iParcelBox remotely using the free app, allowing the delivery driver to scan the unique bar code inside the lid of the iParcelBox as proof of delivery. Centropy will provide iParcelBox with a full range of integrated PR services including campaign creation, media relations and social media consultancy.
The account is the first consumer tech brief for the Shoreditch-based agency and will be led by Centropy co-founder Clare George-Hilley and consultant Kyanna Hayes. The iParcelBox solution can be used by all courier and delivery firms, as it requires no integration with their back-end systems. Companies successfully delivering parcels to iParcelBox include Amazon, DPD, Royal Mail, DHL, UPS, Fedex, Hermes and Yodel.
Clare George-Hilley, co-founder, Centropy PR said, “With the huge rise in online shopping, every household in the UK should have an iParcelBox to ensure the safe and secure delivery of valuable items. The iParcelBox account is a welcome addition to our booming technology portfolio and we are thrilled to work with an entrepreneur like Paul who has designed a truly game-changing product.”
Paul Needler, founder, iParcelBox, said, “We were looking for a proactive agency partner to launch our product and were blown away by the Centropy team’s enthusiasm and can-do approach to PR. During the pitch process the team demonstrated outstanding journalist connections, an innovative approach to storytelling and a passion for technology.”
