The first shoppers have been browsing the shelves of a convenience store following a major revamp.
Co-op in Queens Road, Minster, reopened to customers on Friday (June 20).
The branch, which supports 14 local jobs, initially closed on Saturday, May 10.
It now has a brand new look after a six-week programme of work and improvements.
Additional services have been installed, which include a Costa Coffee Express machine, parcel collections (Evri, Royal Mail and DPD), payment services via PayPoint and the online home delivery of groceries through Just Eat, Uber Eats and Deliveroo.
Orders are picked fresh in store and delivered quickly and conveniently in the local community.
The store offers an extensive range of fresh and chilled produce, in-store bakery, food-to-go and meal deals, as well as fairtrade products, pizzas, flowers, ready meals, award-winning wines and everyday essentials.
A soft plastic recycling facility also allows shoppers to return and recycle materials such as crisp packets and bread bags, lids from ready meals, biscuit wrappers and pet food pouches.
Paul Hoskins, Co-op area operations manager, said: “The whole team is delighted to have the opportunity to re-launch Co-op’s Minster store.
“We are committed to ensuring that the store is a community hub and part of local life, it has a fresh, and more spacious new look and feel.
“Plus a range of added services to serve and support the community, conveniently.
“We pride ourselves on being able to deliver the quality, choice and value which can be enjoyed by everyone.
“We are really looking forward to welcoming members and customers back into their new and improved Co-op.”
Co-op is one of the world’s largest consumer-owned co-operatives, with its history dating back 180 years.
Its 6.2m members own the business and play an essential part in the governance of the organisation.
The store is open between 6am to 10pm daily, seven days a week.
