Colin Seaton and Tom Atkin win the Holbeach and District Darts League Blind Pairs competition

Colin Seaton was again triumphant in the Holbeach and District Darts League Blind Pairs competition.

Seaton won the annual event last year with Mark Horspool and joined forces with Tom Atkin this time around to take the accolade on Friday night.

They beat Simon Hill and Tyger Atkin – Tom’s brother – 2-1 in the final of the event at the Tigers Sports and Social Club.

Nineteen pairs entered the competition with the winners defeating Logan Goddard and Dave Henderson in their semi-final with Mark Waters and Simon Witham also bowing out in the last four.

League secretary Alan Wright was pleased with the turn-out for the event and was also encouraged by the number of young players competing.

Division A leaders Lincoln Arms A extended their advantage at the top of the Hereward Sports Pinchbeck and District League with an impressive 24-3 home win against Consti Club B.

Jimmy Tenno was the outstanding player again for the Lincoln side with two 180s, a 103 checkout and 14 and 18 dart legs.

In the pairs with Paul Blow, he also had an 18 dart leg while there was also a 116 finish for Jake Merrill in his 2-1 singles win.

Services Club B maintained their runners up spot with a 19-8 home win against Lincoln Arms C.

Jacob Herd had an 18 dart leg in his 3-0 singles win while Dan Gent produced a 100 check-out for the Lincoln in his 2-1 singles victory.
