The Dunkeld Writers Festival is an absolute cracker.
I had an absolute ball last year as one of the attendees and as a presenter.
This year, my job is to get Group 1 story-tellers – Warwick Hadfield (polymath), Tracey Holmes (polymath) and Andrew Rule (polymath) – to share the mic time on Sunday’s sports panel. I’m very much looking forward to it.
DWF 25 will feature eminent luminary Helen Garner. Join Chris Hammer, Vicki Cousins, Thomas Mayo, Ben Shewry and twelve more acclaimed authors, who will come together in the shadows of the majestic Grampians/Gariwerd mountain range in the welcoming Dunkeld village.
From the reception on Friday evening, through to the Saturday sessions in Dunkeld and in the woolshed, to the gourmet dinner at the famous Royal Mail Hotel, and then on into Sunday for more sessions, you will have a wonderful weekend.
It’s brilliantly organised by Mary-Ann Brown and Roz Greenwood and the team.
It’s welcoming and friendly.
And it’s entertaining and stimulating.
All of the details are at the Dunkeld Writers Festival website.
It will be another ripper weekend. Hope to see you there.
