Community meeting to discuss Pembrokeshire town’s pool campaign

A meeting is going to be held next week to discuss the ‘Bring Back the Big Pool’ campaign to re-introduce a swimming pool to Milford Haven.

The meeting comes after more than 600 people responded to a recent survey, asking residents about their thoughts surrounding the project.

The community meeting, which will be held at the Milford Haven branch of the Royal British Legion, will have:

  • The story of the pool so far
  • The results of the survey
  • An open mic session for people to have their say

It will take place at 7.30pm on the evening of Wednesday, November 24, and is open for all to attend.

The project promises ‘major economic benefit from tourism,’ ‘fun family and child-friendly facility,’ and ‘year-round elite water sports.’
