Concerns grow for man who vanished near Worcestershire Royal Hospital

Concerns are growing for a missing man from Redditch.

Brent Laight vanished near Worcestershire Royal Hospital at around 8am yesterday, Friday, January 15.

The 39-year-old has links to both Worcester and Redditch and was described as white, with blue eyes, short brown hair and is around 5ft 11ins tall.

He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a blue coat, black sketchers, glasses and a navy coat with a fur edge.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact 101 quoting reference 00138i of 15 January. Alternatively information can be reported on the Tell Us About section of the West Mercia Police website.

What defines a person as missing?

A person is defined as missing if their whereabouts cannot be established and where the circumstances are out of character or the person may be subject of crime or at risk of harm to themselves or someone else.

A person may also be classed as absent if they are not at a place where they are expected or required to be and there is no apparent risk
