Cork’s Maryborough Spa shows off innovative treatments including luxury Quartz Bed and iDome Detox

The award-winning Maryborough Hotel and Spa in Douglas has released a new video showing off its most interesting and innovative luxury spa treatments.

Known for the best of the best when it comes to modern relaxation and rejuvenation techniques, some of the more futuristic spa technology includes the iDome treatment.

A 45-minute touch-free session involves a dome of LED light on the skin for detoxification, Infrared Rays gradually elevate body temperature boosting metabolism and combating inflammation while plasma promotes stress relief and energy enhancement.

Another touchless treatment is a session of Welnamis Spa Wave – a modern ‘power napping session’ for ultimate relaxation.

According to the spa experts, specially crafted music emits two separate frequencies, inducing a specific brainwave reaction that leads to deep relaxation, mental rejuvenation, and profound serenity.

Benefits include improvement in sleep quality stress reduction, a rebalanced nervous system, and it is said to help manage anxiety, panic attacks, and PTSD.

The Maryborough also does a warm healing crystal massage called the Golden Quartz Treatment. It includes a manual massage while being cocooned in crystals, a back and neck Dynamic Flow massage and an Inversion Gravity stretch for back and spine pain.
