It’s not often the much maligned U.S. Postal Service gets praise or applause, but that’s what it got Oct. 18 when postal officials announced to a school gymnasium full of Cummaquid residents that everything would remain the same at their favorite neighborhood gathering place, the tiny Cummaquid Post Office on Route 6A.
