Daily Mail Australia Launches 24/7 Royal Family Channel

MailOnline, DailyMail.com and Daily Mail Australia have launched a new royal family-specific channel.

It will be integrated into the news website and will be “the world’s new home for all things Royal” and will be updated “24 hours a day, seven days a week, complementing the exceptional Royal coverage in the Daily Mail, Mail on Sunday and The Mail+.”

Danny Groom, publisher and editor, MailOnline said: “Millions of readers across the globe devour our royal coverage daily, whether it’s from the house of Windsor to the royal households of Monaco and Morocco. Our new Royal channel will give them access to breaking news, live events, and exclusive stories that they won’t find anywhere else.”

The channel will also feature never-before-seen photos and video footage of the Royal family from the Daily Mail’s extensive archives.

In addition, the comprehensive coverage will feature lifestyle content celebrating the best of Royal fashion, beauty, real estate, and travel with a regal twist.

Sean Walsh, global chief brand officer, DMG media, said: “Daily Mail has been documenting the Royal family since 1896 and with King Charles’ historic coronation next month, our loyal readers will have access to the most up to date and truly global Royal news 24 hours a day, seven days a week.”

The Royal channel will be staffed by a team of talented journalists from our newsrooms in London, New York, Los Angeles and Sydney.
