Asbestos found in crumbled ceiling tile prompted the temporary closure of the Davis Post Office effective today. U.S. Postal Service officials do not know when the site will re-open. Beginning today, the Thomas Post Office will serve the approximate 550 post office box customers of the Davis Post Office, according to Dave Walton, USPS spokesperson.
