A “major refurbishment” is currently ongoing at the drinking hole, but it will be reopened to patrons old and new on Wednesday, July 30.

“Great food, a strong drinks range, and regular events from quiz nights to live music, and the Sunday roast and dog friendly atmosphere will be key draws, alongside our commitment to friendly, down to earth service.”
Locals will be relieved to hear about the grand reopening as the pub has been closed since March this year, with Mr Petts and Sam taking over in June.
The Greene King pub will be in safe hands with the pair who have a wealth of hospitality experience.

“We’re both excited to give The Royal Oak a fresh new chapter at the heart of the Didcot community.”
