Disgraceful moment anti-vaxxers turn up at Colchester Hospital accusing medics of ‘plandemic’ crimes

Anti-vaxxer conspiracy theorists storm into hospital to serve ‘legal documents’ citing the ‘Nuremberg Code’ and accusing medics of complicity in ‘crimes against humanity’

  • This is the moment anti-vaxxers ‘serve’ under-pressure medics at Colchester
  • Conspiracy theorists accuse NHS hospital staff of ‘propagating plandemic’
  • They spout legal mumbo-jumbo including about the post-war Nuremberg Code

This is the moment anti-vaxxer conspiracy theorists turn up at Colchester Hospital waving homemade legal papers citing the ‘Nuremberg Code’ at medics and accusing them of complicity in made-up Covid ‘plandemic’ crimes.

Video posted to Twitter apparently shows Michael Chaves and Jamie Freeman serving hospital staff with bogus legal notices about the Nuremberg Code and ‘crimes against humanity’.

The conspiracy theorist in charge hands a female NHS medic several large brown envelopes, including one containing ‘all the evidence to prove that coronavirus is an absolute plandemic hoax’.

Michael Chaves: Anti-vaxxer ex-paramedic, 55, who served DJ Jeremy Vine with ‘writ’

To most people who meet him, Michael Chaves appears an unassuming, married 55-year-old former paramedic who spends his time in the office, at the gym and walking his dogs in the park.

But online, he boasts a significant following peddling ludicrous conspiracy theories about Covid vaccines.

On his channel ‘Mad Mix Conspiracies’, thousands of followers tune in to hear Chaves claiming the pandemic is a hoax and that the jabs – which have saved millions of lives globally – are deadly

In one video, for example, Chaves claimed: ‘The [Covid-19] tests are purely about collecting people’s DNA.’

Recently, Chaves finally reached the national audience he no doubt dreams of when he and a merry band of fellow anti-vaccine protesters filmed themselves marching to the home of BBC Two presenter Jeremy Vine, to serve him a ‘writ’.

He then rants that the hospital staff ‘are operating illegally and you are operating crimes against humanity, and by continuing to enforce and continuing to propagate this lie, you are essentially a part of that’.

Bizarrely, the anti-vaxxer also claims that the Pope stripped NHS workers of their ‘liability’ in 2013, insisting that they can be ‘held in their personal capacity’.

‘All of this will be served via Royal Mail as well, and it will be followed up on by lawyers,’ he adds. ‘I suggest you get your lawyers to have a look at that because it’s all legally binding paperwork.’

As the group of anti-vaxxers then leaves the trust office, the conspiracy theorist filming the incident boasts: ‘Yet another NHS business served.’

MailOnline has contacted East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust and Essex Police for comment.

Created in 1947 in response to the horrors of Nazi experimentation of prisoners at concentration camps without their consent, the Nuremberg Code consists of 10 principles, the first of which being that the voluntary consent of the human subject is absolutely essential in any experiment on humans.

Other principles include that the experiment should be for the good of society, that all unnecessary physical and mental suffering or injury should be avoided and no experiment should be conducted if there is good reason to believe it may result in death or a disabling injury.

However, Covid conspiracy theorists have peddled claims during the pandemic that life-saving vaccines violate the Nuremberg Code because they are ‘experimental’ and – as people receiving the jabs are not made aware of this – they are unable to give their informed consent.

BBC journalist Shayan Sardarizadeh identified of the anti-vaxxers who appears in the video as Michael Chaves, a married 55-year-old former paramedic who spends his time in the office, at the gym, walking his dogs in the park – and peddling ludicrous conspiracy theories about Covid vaccines.

Recently, Chaves and a merry band of fellow anti-vaccine protesters filmed themselves marching to the home of BBC Two presenter Jeremy Vine, to serve him a ‘writ’.

Mr Vine’s crime was a comment about the Covid vaccine on his show. During a discussion about whether unvaccinated footballers should be banned from playing, Vine said: ‘I guess we either allow this or we end up holding people down and jabbing them by force.’

Chaves, who boasts 9,000 Telegram subscribers, believes he is fighting a secret conspiracy that is lining the pockets of Big Pharma and world governments.

Anti-vaxxer sentiment appears to be growing in the UK. On Tuesday, Michael Gove had to be shielded by a ring of police as he was ambushed with no protection by a mob of anti-vaxxer protesters in Westminster.

And at the weekend, demonstrators marched by Hyde Park Corner at the weekend demanding ‘don’t jab our kids’ and ‘my body my choice’ as they danced and shouted through megaphones.
