Many services have been impacted over the four-day Easter bank holiday weekend.
Typically, businesses close their doors in order to let their employees have time off with their loved ones.
And it’s no different at Royal Mail, which usually doesn’t operate on bank holidays.
Is there post or deliveries today?
On the Royal Mail website, a statement reads reads: “We deliver and collect your mail on most days of the year, including Saturdays. However, we don’t usually deliver or collect on bank and public holidays.”
For this reason, it’s unlikely there will be any post today.
According to the Royal Mail website, other services will also pause today.
On Easter Monday, there will be “no collections or deliveries”.
Normal service should resume tomorrow though.
Are post offices open?
To see if your post office is open, use this handy branch finder.
It’s likely some will not open during the Bank Holiday but service may still be going ahead in selected local areas.
A message on the Post Office website adds: “Due to the coronavirus pandemic, branch opening times can change at short notice.
“We apologise for the inconvenience caused by unplanned closures.”
