Douglas wants more food stamps (Boston Globe)

Gov. Jim Douglas wants to make 30,000 more Vermont families eligible for food stamps. The plan is an addition to the Governor’s Fuel and Food Partnership, a collaboration of public and private partners trying to help Vermonters deal with rising costs of fuel and food.
