Drake Takes Shots At The Beatles With New Tattoo Celebrating Billboard Record

Drake Gets Beatles Tattoo to Celebrate Chart Record

Reaction on Twitter to Drake’s new tattoo prompted a lot of negative responses with many upset that the rapper would put himself among the British music icons with his choice for his body art.

Beatles fans are furious with Canadian hitmaker Drake after the rapper got himself a new tattoo, seemingly mocking the Fab Four’s iconic Abbey Road album cover.

While the 32-year-old rapper hasn’t unveiled his gloating tat on his own social media, a number of fan accounts have posted photos where Drake’s fresh ink is visible, including ones of him with a young fan, hugging Chris Brown and standing with YG, as Complex first reported.

The famous image shows John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and George Harrison walking across a zebra crossing on Abbey Road, London. Ironically, the Abbey Road album cover was shot exactly 50 years ago this week. However, some people aren’t pleased with his new tatt.

Drake’s new tattoo comes nearly a year after he set a new record for the highest number of Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 songs in a single calendar year, surpassing The Beatles, who earned 11 top 10 songs in their breakout year of 1964, reported People.

He also shouts out the band in Meek Mill’s song “Going Bad”.

Drake officially has more slaps than The Beatles and he recently got some new ink to commemorate the accomplishment.
