A driver was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after he stuck and damaged the U.S. Post Office on Ireland Place, Amityville Thurs., Sept. 4. That incident occurred at approximately 1:30 a.m., as Nassau County Police followed the driver, a male, from Nassau into Amityville Village. The driver was identified as A. Wiszowaty, 21, of St. James. Charges against him are pending. …
