Easter family activities at Tretower Court and Castle

A full calendar of Cadw-run activities is set to take place at historic sites across Wales, including Tretower Court and Castle.

The Easter events aim to bring Welsh history to life with fun and interactive experiences for all ages.

Kate Roberts, chief executive of Cadw, said: “The Easter break is a brilliant opportunity for families to explore the remarkable history that surrounds them.

“We’ve designed a varied and engaging calendar of events that encourages visitors to get outdoors, connect with Welsh heritage, and enjoy meaningful time together.

“Children go free with any adult membership, offering fantastic value for families planning multiple days out.”

Children can take part in ‘Tretower’s Easter Fun,’ a themed egg hunt running from April 4 to 6 between 10am and 4.30pm each day.

Vsitors will be invited to help Rhys Rabbit find his missing Easter eggs, which are hidden around Tretower Court and Castle.

By following a special trail and solving clues, children can uncover the eggs and earn a small treat upon completing the quest.

Cadw membership, which offers free entry for children with any adult membership, provides unlimited access to 132 historic places across Wales.
