Easter 2021 is just days away, bringing with it religious festivities as well as bunnies and chocolate eggs.
The long Easter weekend includes two bank holidays, Good Friday and Easter Monday, which means two days off for many people – and a disruption to public services for all.
That also includes Royal Mail, the backbone of the UK’s postal network. That network will be paused over Easter, however, with no collections or deliveries on Good Friday, Easter Sunday, or Easter Monday.
That’s the case across the whole of the United Kingdom except for Scotland, where Royal Mail will be collecting and delivering as normal on Good Friday before a pause on Easter Sunday and Monday.
Deliveries and collections will continue as normal on Saturday, April 3, however, so you’ll have one final chance for any Easter gifts to be delivered.
As for other services across Bristol, Bristol’s Easter bin collections will continue as normal, as will Bristol’s tip opening hours, with some caveats. You might also be interested in when benefits are paid over Easter.
