eBay has a bright future as the anti-Amazon

It’s easy to look at this week’s first quarter financial reports from Amazon.com Inc. and eBay Inc. and conclude that Amazon took yet another step toward burying eBay as a serious e-commerce competitor. But that conclusion is less true today than it might have been several quarters ago.
