'eBay International’s business profits not taxable in India'

eBay International AG, a Swiss tax resident, need not fork out any income-tax on the profits earned from its two India-specific Web sites. This ruling of the Mumbai Income Tax Appellate Tribunal is a significant one in the context of e-commerce transactions, say tax experts.
