eBay Pulls Back from Plan to Ban Active Content (AuctionBytes)

eBay told developers it had no immediate plans to block active content from listings, a policy it had initially announced in June as a way to make it safer to shop on the site. eBay has begun hosting user-generated content (the content in the Item Description) on a separate domain, which will occur on more and more pages as the new View Item page ramps up across the site.
