eBay sales big money for county (The Observer-Dispatch)

An unofficial rule exists in Oneida County: Don’t throw out anything. In 2004, the county began selling used items on eBay, after county Purchasing Director Mello Testa brought forward the idea of using the Web site’s online auctions. The county’s total eBay sales since then: More than $1.1 million.
