eBay Says France Will Protect It against Auctioneer Regulations

eBay said it had won a regulatory victory in France, explaining that 3 years ago, the French Parliament had proposed a draft bill that would have subjected eBay to the same regulation and licensing requirements as traditional auctioneers.
