Special stamps celebrating England’s Cricket World Cup winning teams go on sale next month.
The eight Royal Mail stamps honour both the England Men’s and Women’s winning teams from 2019 and 2017 respectively.
The stamps will be presented in two miniature sheets costing £4.60 and will be available from September 26.
The men’s sheet features four photographs of the England team celebrating, after Durham CCC player Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer starred in a dramatic superover victory over New Zealand at Lords.
The women’s sheet depicts celebrations following their World Cup Final against India, also at Lord’s, in 2017.
It is the first time England Men’s and Women’s cricket teams have held both trophies at the same time. The women’s side have won four Cricket World Cups, while 2019’s tournament was the first time the men’s side became world champions.
