A major probe was launched after an incident at a Falkirk Royal Mail depot

Cops and paramedics wearing orange hazard suits were seen entering the building.

Three ambulances, including a specialist operations team, were sent to the scene.

The nature of the incident has not yet been established.

But tonight Police Scotland say officers remain at the building and added that enquiries are “ongoing”.

An inspector for the force said he wasn’t able to comment on the investigation.

A Royal Mail spokeswoman confirmed that they’re looking into an incident.

An eyewitness said: “I got off the train at Falkirk Grahamston train station and loads of police were going about.”

“I couldn’t really see what was happening, but they were all running into the building.”
