The Flint Post Office is no longer being considered for closure, officials announced Thursday. In a letter, dated Aug. 6, to U.S. Rep. Joseph Kennedy, Jason Lamote, a government relations representative for the United States Postal Service, said that postal service officials, after careful consideration, are no longer considering discontinuing the Flint station.
